| Occupying the eastern half of Kent, as the name suggests, East Kent always had a close relationship with its neighbour, Maidstone and District, both once being BET subsidiaries. Nevertheless, they were separate companies, with different liveries, though a joint numbering scheme was adopted by the NBC. Note that, prior to c1980, East Kent did not use fleet numbers. |
